Labor Committee

The Labor Committee was formed to provide engagement and dialogue for faculty, graduate and undergraduate students across the Cornell community. This committee hopes to provide exposure about the importance of Global Labor development which is a very relevant topic in this modern age. The Labor committee is excited to form a tight-knit group of students interested in Global Labor development, if you are interested in this committee please email cornellglobaldevelopmentclub@cornell.edu. Also if you are a graduate student interested in becoming the Labor Committee Graduate Director please email cornellglobaldevelopment@cornell.edu. The big event for this committee this semester will be the Model ILO Conference. In terms of the smaller events planned for next semester, there will be Labor Committee team building meetings and social events and there may be Faculty Lecture(s) on Global Labor Development. We would also like to give a big thanks to Professor Sarosh Kuruvilla in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations for all of his ideas, suggestions and willingness to help with the committee.
