Journal Symposium

Tuesday, April 22nd 5-7pm

Two professors, a graduate and undergraduate will present research on the theme "What is Global Development?" Though this is a very broad and contentious question, we would like to share research-inspired quandary at the symposium. Moreover, we this event would draw attention and submissions for our journal and blog.
Schedule:
20-30 minute discussion about development and the environment by a professor (to be announced soon)
15-20 minute presentation by a student
10-15 minute discussion

We will repeat the cycle of speakers (with a different focus this time) and question/answer time again so a total of 2 professors and 2 students speak. Refreshments will be served afterward to encourage informal discussion. The schedule is designed to allow attendees interesting information in small bits so those under time constraints can still gain insight into diverse topics related to global development.

We're still looking for student to present global development related research so contact us if you are interested!

Journal

We would like to publish a credible, creative journal that examines global development from a variety of angles and perspectives. Graduate students, undergraduates, professors, and experts in the field are all welcome to submit for publication.
