The Cornell Global Development club is lead by a mixed undergraduate and graduate executive board consisting of 5 committees and a leadership team of graduate and undergraduate students. The leadership team consists of a Graduate Executive Director, an Undergraduate President and an Undergraduate Vice-President.To find out more about the committees please click here. Currently we are still looking for more graduate students to fill the Labor Committee Graduate Director, Journal and Blog Committee Graduate Director and the Events Commitee Graduate Director Role. Please note that officer positions for graduate students only require guidance and leadership, administrative work is delegated to undergraduates in consideration of the busy lives of graduate students. Vanessa Coleman
Undergraduate President and Founder
A proud Liberian, Vanessa Coleman is a sophomore in the College of Human Ecology majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society and Minoring in Global Health. Vanessa is very interested in the intersection between global health and global development as well as women's issues particularly maternal mortality and women's empowerment in low - income countries. Vanessa hopes to one day become a Perinatologist and work with mothers and babies during difficult pregnancies and deliveries in the United States and abroad especially in Liberia. Edward Dehm is the dedicated webmaster for the Cornell Global Development club. He has been developing websites for the last seven days.
