About Us
The Cornell Global Development Club was founded in 2007 by Vanessa Coleman to address the need in the Cornell community for a club specific to the general concept of Global Development. The club is actually modeled after similar clubs at the Columbia School of Business, the Wharton School of Business, Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School and the Yale Business School with particular gratitude to the David Del Ser Bartolome at the Columbia Business School for all his help and guidance. Our advisor is Dr. Phillip McMichael who is faculty in the Development Sociology Department. Special Thanks to Dr. Max Pfeffer, Sarosh Kuruvilla (ILR) and Ms. Rene Hoffman.
The Mission of the club is to facilitate dialogue and engagement amoung faculty, graduates and undergraduates and across the Cornell Community about Global Development.
